when you're eating dinner at a restaurant you want to be talking with the people you're out with, not fiddling with a computer, if you do, go to an internet cafe

It looks cool and awesome, but I'm thinking a few things: 1. How many restaurants with Microsoft Surface tables will there be in the world? 30? 2. If you're going to play around with a computer, do that at home. In a restaurant you'd rather want to talk to the other people you're out with. 3. Most things will be lacking tags and information. 4. Smart phones will tend to be iPhones in the future, and that could lead to compatibility problems.

it looks amazing...but somewhat pointless

yes, but can it replicate and produce solid matter out of thin air? i'd like to make a Bill Gates clone so that when Vista pisses me off, i can beat the crap out of the clone, perhaps torture it, then feel better. can Microsoft Surface create a clone of Bill Gates for me?
