ugh, thank you! i'm a photoshop wiz but trying to learn the techniques used in illustrator with the pen tool was extremely frustrating on my own. finally, ALT was the answer!

QUESTION!!! :Dok what are you doing when you have created a curve and when u hover over the last anchor point there's a little symbol beside the pen symbol that looks like the convert anchor point symbol,when you click it removes a tangent(sp??) handle and you can freely make your next curve :O????

This was VERY helpfulThanks!I've had illustrator fr about a year or two and I never understood how to use the pen tool. I only knew that it was essential to drawing.And mentioning the hot keys were helpful too

So helpful, thank you! One thing that might help is to FREQUENTLY mention the keyboard shortcuts for each tool/tool option on these beginner tutorials because it takes a while to learn them.
