to win a war you need all of your forces almost intact or able to take another hit before collapsing.

There where another tactics in ww2 as so as there where no thermovisiors and automatic grenade launchers

good amour is miserable thing in front of modern anti-tank weaponsalso to win battle you can`t flee you should fightBMPT designed to harvest infantry like grass first of all it has advanced sensor systems providing it to spot infantry very effectivealso GH guns are very accurate guns as so as AGS grenade launchers

good armour and good mobility will give more chance for the vehicle to escape when ambushed. good firepower will help the vihicle to blast its way in or out of battlefield. weapon accuracy is very important.

T-35 cannot be paralelled with this. T-35 failed, because it was too heavy and too slow even to than standard. That is not the case for this thing. It also failed, because its main turret was limited by its secondary turrets. Also not the case with BMPT, because it has one turret with many weapons.

2heparr - No. Dunno whare you get your info from but you can see that the ammo is stored inside the hull just by looking at this beast.- I kinda agree with your second point tho..@MarshallJukovSure you need all that fire power but.. Well in ww2 russians have made quite few tanks like T 35 with many turrets and guns pointing out in every direction.. The design failed epicly and there are reasons why the firepower of a single wehicle is limited..
MarshallJukov (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
in real combat situations when you got let`s say...ambushed with enemy troops you need ALL FIRE POWER YOU CAN GET AND AT ALL ANGLES SIMULTANIOUSLY

2 cabalabro:- All weapons & ammo placed outside.- I believe crew of five was choosed in order to serve this mashine more effectivly - not because it makes big difference in firepower. It's hard to serve big tanks with only a crew of 3. Futhermore, it's hard to make everyone die inside at istance so it's not like it'll be a grave-for-five.

About the 2 granade launchers. Well i doubt that there are many combat situations that will need boath of them fired at the same time. I believe that one such granade launcher will do the job in 99.99% of the time so why have 2 knowing that each of them needs an additional crew member to operate it..

I did see the T-72 in real life, and the interior is SMALL! Dunno what diference does it realy make.. And it doesnt look like the new turret mechanism would take alot less space in the hull. I mean even tho it doesnt carry 125 mm shells inside its hull, 900 30mm shells and 600 granades does take some space. Add to that 5 crew and all the new gadgets plus the interior enforced with kevlar and you will get the crew killed when someone farts inside.. |
