Ah... classic Irish gentleman's sense of self-deprecating humor. I can hear one of my uncles saying something like that. Doesn't usually play too well outside of the Northeast, which is probably the biggest problem. I imagine Hillary herself probably appreciated Joe's sentiment.

Actually I really like that Governor of Montana. I think he'd be a better running mate. Bill and Hillary said that she'd rather not accept the VP if it was offerred to her. Nevertheless, she is obliged to accept it if her constituents and followers believe that it will help the Democrats win the election.
