Your claim seemed suspicious to me, so I looked it up myself. Fox News was offered an opportunity to get a direct license, but never acted upon. Instead, going through Rogers Communication to carry the network. Maybe you live out in the sticks and don't get it? But your claim is bs. The only one distorting the truth is you.

theres a reason the other news channels are allowed to air in Canada and fox isnt. FOX is bias, distorted and is therefore not news and not allowed to air

You could find disgruntled employees from other news organizations - unfortunately, they probably wouldn't go on camera because it's less likely they could find work if they were to speak out against their employer - I mean, FOX is only one channel...I wish traditional news outlets wouldn't be such intellectual snobs, then FOX wouldn't have a leg to stand on. I think most people recognize that the traditional news outlets are slanted and biased also - FOX is a not-that-great alternative.

Please. Does anyone believe FOX is any more responsible for the deterioration of traditional journalism, any more than the STAR or National Enquirer is.It's not all that. Most media is slanted, FOX is just more obnoxious and rubs people the wrong way. It's a conservative Op/Ed channel.

Don't be silly. FOX has regular news programming with stories that are not biased just like the other networks. And then they have Talk Shows with commentators that give the conservative point of view. This is no different than MSNBC Olberman, Matthews or CNN Dobbs, Caferty, etc. All the cable news channels have talk shows that slant right or left. So stop whining, just because there are people on the air that have a different opinion than your own.

It's not a news show its a propaganda machine to promote the causes of big government and ultimately faschism. They're doing everythin they can to make Obama look like a terrorist, communist and any other name they can get to stick.

FOX should not be considered a news station. They don't do actual reporting. News reports are supposed to be an unbiased, accurate representation of world events that are presented for the viewer to form his/her own opinions on the subject. This station tells its viewers, through distortion and misrepresentation of the facts, what their opinion should be. This is not journalism, not even close. |
