If you actually watch the video he says it's a custom block but uses the LS intake and some other pieces. It is NOT a GM block.

It's a 6.2L Obviously the guy mispoke, an LS can't be bored out to that large, and we know it's not a big block swap because it's got a figgin ls intake.

It's built to be mild, stupidass. You obviously aren't familiar with Katech Engineering. This engine is more than capable of 1000 hp, naturally aspirated. That is something you just won't see in Europe or Japan. Only thing is, it would likely require spinning it upwards of 9000 rpm, which would change the calm, smooth idle and overall driving characteristics of the car. Its MEANT to be mild, but I gaurantee your ass would be part of the seat, after a foot to the floor ride. 600lbft will do that.
