CONUNDRUM PART 1
The entire film is based around Charles Weston's recent murder in downtown New York in which detective Cassidy and his newly acquired partner Donny are called out to investigate. Cassidy is relentless to accept Donny as his partner because his previous partner of 4 years was gunned down by a New York Gang. Regardless of their feelings towards one another they proceed to retrace Charles Weston's last steps the night of his murder. After visiting the crime scene and receiving several tips from the crime scene photographer they are lead to their prime suspect, Mr. Weston's money grubbing wife, Marie Weston. They escort her to the downtown precinct where Donny begins to interrogate Mrs. Weston. Getting few leads from her, Donny drills her with the good cop bad cop scenario, finally leading up to Mr. Weston's intensions the night of his murder, getting to his warehouse. Detective Donny once again escorts Mrs. Weston out to the warehouse to gain crucial information, while Cassidy remains behind to run her paperwork. Together, Donny and Mrs. Weston enter the warehouse, Donny remains watchful since he knows nothing of his surroundings. What is detective Donny to do when Mrs. Weston goes missing? Is she the one who murdered her husband? What should detective Donny do once he finds himself locked in? How does he not know that the murder might be around the next corner?
