Islamic Invasion #3: Robert Morey Claims Two Body Guards Rescue Him From 400 Violent & Angry Muslims at Lecture
"Islamic Invasion" #3: "Truth Seeker" Bob Morey tells how 400 Muslims "stormed the platform" mistaking him for a member of the "Jewish Massad." This video includes photographic evidence of the aftermath of Morey's lecture where all these events were supposed to have happened. The problem for Morey is that virtually everything he testifies to is false. There were less than 150 people if that many in attendance in the entire lecture hall & of those almost 30-40% were Christians. There were no body guards, no violence, no threats, & as the photos show, 20 or less people (many of these were Christians) around Morey after the lecture. Morey left peacefully with friends after the lecture to go eat at a restaurant. This is just another example of the "stories" Morey will make up to promote himself & his "ministry" to make money off of the public. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." You did no research, you only made ref to book titles.You never interviewed any scholars of islam!??? some writer u are...If you were mobbed by so many Arabs,there is no way 2 bodyguards could have saved you.You made up lies to hurt a true faith and to extort money from people who believed in you. |
