Excuse me, but where did I say I was speaking the the context of the "world"? Even if the world is "only a third" Christian, that makes what Christians have accomplished even greater, since our influence is all over the world.

nancarrow2...you might want to pay closer attention to what I said. Nowhere did I claim that you HAVE to be a Christian to help the poor. My point is that the vast majority of those who do these things ARE Christians, and they do so in the name of God based on His principles. Even IF there were no afterlife, WE have done good for society overall.
