Just like many of the other TV Magicians he needs to find the certain percentage of people that are susceptible to this kind of thing. You can see & hear his obvious NLP suggestive techniques.At least he shows someone who is not affected but probably just to suggest that he is only a rare exception. When only 1/4 of people seems more likely.
