the 360 games aren't all region protected, some are some aren't it's up to the developer, to find out about a specific game you should ask on a forum

Only PS3 games are region free. The 360, sadly, isn't.

Does anyone happen to know if the PS3 and X-Box 360 are region protected? Because if not, I really want to import these games, but I really don't want to have to buy two of each system. (Which I may have to do anyway for my PS2 since I have a slim instead of a phat.)

Bah, after you get used to it, the Chibi robots are just as awesome as the real robots. Honestly, I love the style of the SRW games. Despite having chibified robots, it still manages to look serious, and make amazing battles, and fun games. I love SRW. It is quite possibly my favorite game series ever.

In my opinion it's a shame that every single mech in this game is a chibi character, I mean, the real deal looks way awesomer and would make the fights look way better than these mini toys fighting eachother.But meh, who cares what I think. ;D

It's a ported version of Super Robot Wars GC, which is indeed on GameCube. The port/remake, Super Robot Wars XO, is for the Xbox 360 though, as souloftwilight pointed out. I'm only a year late to answering your question, heh...
