I can't find the sport peppers down in NC. What's a good substitute that I can use that will be just as good? I really like Chicago-style Hot Dogs and want to make them right (despite the lack of availability of sport peppers around Charlotte, NC)

i go to chicago 4 times a year for 9 shopping, pizza, festivals and hot dog's)i have had many chicago hot dogs... the 1st mistake is real chicago hotdogs are NEVER grilled, always steamed, and its must be vienna beef( there is no substitute for this )sorry guys but that was not a chicago hotdog... this guy needs to come correct

Saurkraut goes on a New York hot dog.Only babies put catsup on a hot dog.

Um WRONG! Poppy bun, where is the celery salt?? Sauerkraut NO WAY!!! Ingredients: Poppy seed bun, steamed Vienna beef dog, relish, pickles, tomato, onion, mustard, peppers and celery salt! NO KETCHUP!!! (And I am not even from Chicago, I go twice a year for the sole purpose of the food at Chicago's FABULOUS restaurants!!) TRY AGAIN BUDDY! Please re-do this Chicago has the best food in the world don't defame that please!

chicago dogs are always steamed, never grilled...and we NEVER put sauerkraut on it. it's raw diced onions...what else do you put on it, ketchup?!? FRAUD!!! |
