Aw, Donnie Darko is my favorite movie. It's beautiful but of course I'd never recommend it to everyone. You have to appreciate figurative literature and intellectual things that involve actually THINKING.The song is amazing though, like it way better then the Tears for Fears version. That one seems like the beat doesn't fit the lyrics.

it involves a 6-foot rabbit, time travel, suicide, troubled teens, this song, and incompetent adults.thats all i can say without giving away too much.its a great movie, but not everyone sees the true beauty behind it.

i disagree, i'm usually one to like original versions better than covers, but mad world is an exception. this song just sounds better mellowed out. its a sad song, and a slow beat works well. but i do agree that the 80s rocked
