Being a former professional musician, mainly on the guitar, I have little to say but: This guy made it, we didn't. Next to Django R he might be the best I or anybody have ever heard. Thanks for the posting, thanks to Jake, thanks to God, who made all this possible.

Correct!! The portugese immigrants brought it over when they came to work on the sugar cane fields and the hawaiians took hold of it and incorporated it into their music. Ukulele in hawaiian means "jumping flea" in reference to the quick movements of the fingers. I am a Hawaiian and we have a lot of other good musicians who play nahenahe music with the ukulele. Peter Moon, Kelly Boy Delima, Troy Fernandez and a whole lot of others. Aloha
