meksweets..That's a very condescending attitude you have. The US gov't is owned by the people (or is supposed to be) Who pays their salaries? With what we pay in taxes, we expect our leaders to be there w/ help. My rich WHITE brother lives in Florida, was wiped out by hurricane a few yrs ago...and you better believe he and all the other wealthy living on the bay were WELL COMPENSATED by the govt...none of them left and had to be rescued..so different from this!

Black Americans needs to stop depending on the government. If other minorities can come from other foreign countries and prosper here in America then what excuse do Black Americans have to not prosper? My heart and prayers goes out to all those who went through and lost their lives in the Hurricane Katrina.Black Americans stop depending on the government and work hard to be successful in this beautiful country you're blessed to live in. Many foreigners would love to trade places with you.

avesataniaversatani, You are very stupid to make a statement like that! People like you looking on the outside and never looking on the inside. Most of those people were POOR and the government knew that they couldn't leave. If you don't know what poor means get a dictionary!

I could never fathem what H-ells fury must have been like ,watching everyone suffering on the tv like you did is nothing short of a miricle . I do not know if it was a consperisy blowing up the wall but to shoot at people who have just gone through their last dying moments with Christ through all this stormy weather makes a mockery of the government/ CIA if any of them , to me its not about being black,We are all made in Gods Image, walk colorblind through life the picture is a masterpiece

pmx405 got it right. new orleans is such a great town and when you are there the feeling is amazing. what happened there during katrina is unspeakable. The government let them down tremendously, but to say that it was intentional and a racial issue is wrong. the majority that live their are poor and do not have ways to leave, nor the money for shelter. The government should have been prepared and they werent and many many lives have been taken on that account. God bless their souls.

This is what happens when you let blacks run their own town, they knew a Cat 5 hurricane was comming, they didnt evacuate their own ppl they didnt mobilise their own police and national gaurd they didnt prepare no how. Instead of whining and blaming federal government u ought to blame yourselves for not leaving when you were told to leave and the no good officials u all elected to govern your city. we have devastating hurricanes in florida too, we prepare. we dont whine and look for handouts.

I think you are reading too much into this commercial. I saw the dvd and it was wasn't based on a conspiracy. It showed the bungling of the preparations and the sorry (and criminal) response by the local and federal government. There were opposing views from residents, government officials and a lot of others. All in all, the doc was put together well. |
