Cool Gadget...but don't think it should be used as your exclusive only phone....Great as an auxillary phone option.... like trying to locate your misplaced cell phone that fell in between the sofa cushion

I purchased one of these devices for my elderly father who live thousands of miles away so he could call me without costing him too much money, as he is on a fixed income. Once he got the hang of it, he really enjoyed the saving....That is until the day it STOPPED WORKING for no reason. He thought he did something wrong. I let him know that he did not. In fact, it seems common for these 'magic jack offs' to die after 30 days, making it impossible to return for a refund. And Customer Service? HA!

I just ordered one last Thursday... Hopefully itll be here today. I thought Vonage was cheap, but this is ridiculously cheap. I hope the service isnt as low as the price. But this wont be my primary line anyway, my cell phone is. Have you ordered one yet Chris?

This service cost less than $2 a month you only pay $20 a year what a deal! Vonage cost $24.95 a month 15 times more expencive than the magic jack what would you rather pay $299.40 a year for vonage or $20 a year through magic jack? |
