i have a magic jack myself it im on the fence about mines it has alot of flaws and alot of advantages. its 50/50 on your call quality some days its good other days they cant hear u or it skips (yea like a cd) it operates more like a cell phone signal as opposed to a landline but u get what you pay for and u only pay 19.99 for it so u get less than $20 worth out of it in the end its more reliable than a cell phone but quality wise it aint fuckin with a landline

yup - well, it's not for everybody... i wouldn't recommend this for a big family who isn't going to have other communication devices available - regular phone line, cell phones, etc., but it makes a great second line - business line

Unless you have a cordless phone system in your home, you can only use one corded phone. also you have leave your computer on 24/7

Magicjack keeps track on all the calls you make, please go to magicjack website and click on reviews at the bottom of the page and read the first review by U.S. News. Then click on callit in that blog and you will read it their!

Love your screen name - ADD reference???... Although I don't really use mine on a regular basis - i don't have a desktop puter anymore, otherwise it'd be on all the time.... I'm still satisfied with it when i do use it - it isn't perfect, but neither is anything else - even skype....I agree - skype rocks too ... but why not have both? I do!I think skype and magic jack are apples and oranges - skype has IM capabilities for whereas magic jack can utilize 911 and use a standard phone.

Magic Jack is a piece of junk. It worked off and on when I first bought it. Tech support was a total waste of time. Go with Skype. IT WORKS!

Guys please. 20 bucks a year for phone service that follows you anywhere. It's more than worth it even if it does still have glitches. Hell I'll pay that for the voicemail and call forwarding service to my cell phone alone.

people don't understand but you need a good computer not just the internet so what if your internet speed in like 2mb/s you cpu needs to be at least 2.1ghz or faster and 1gig of ram cant have a slow as computer? |
