Cause Kim Gordon was hanging out a lot back then with Tamara Davis and Tamara was really into rap and was directing rap videos, so they incorporated it into a Sonic Youth song/video.

Can someone explain to me how this person PostModVid can have music videos up, but if other people put them up on their channels, their whole accounts get deleted?

Uh, yeah. Guitar hero will give you exposure to potential fans worldwide, especially younger people. I'd love for one of our songs (40oz Folklore) to be put on Gtr Hero, but it would be an easy song, we do barre chord early 80's CA hardcore punk. However, I'd love to see a local band, Night of the Wolf (think Sabbath meets Motorhead) get one of their songs put on it. They've got a song called "Deathhunter" posted on here. They kick total ass!

Why the hell is Chuck D in the video?

In all seriousness-how can this song possibly make Guitar Hero look bad? I think that if anything it makes Guitar Hero seem even better and more diverse. Art rock at it's finest. Plus-if you don't like Sonic Youth, you obviously don't know anything about music. Any REAL guitar player can appreciate how Sonic Youth has made playing the guitar fun again with all the alternate tunings and what not. If you can't appreciate that---then, yeah...stick with your cute little video game plastic guitar.

I love this. Great stuff. Sonic Youth is pure art. |
