The Americas were, in fact, named after Vespucci. The United States entered WWII Dec. 7, 1945, but were actually involved long before that in helping the U.K. in protecting their cargo ships on the Atlantic from German U-Boats. For what it probably isn't worth to you, you should know that North Americans in general really, sincerely, and quite literally aren't concerned with your disapproval of us. |
