He wrote this song for his four-year-old son who fell to his death out of their apartment window. I feel his pain. I've lost many friends and family members myself. This song, One Sweet Day, and It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday always remind me of the people I've lost and cause me to have a lump in my throat if not shed a tear.

srgtsupporter coner was with his mother at a friends home in new york...it was 53 storys...he fell out of a large window that was never meant to be open at all...he landed on a building adjecent to it :(

well ass hole... take it from a person who plays guitar... WHEN YOU ARE SAD YOU PLAY! AND SOMETIMES WILL WRITE A SONG ABOUT YOUR SORROWS!so sorry if he made something that was good (and because he was already a star) sold it...why would someone go to their room and say "My son just died... LETS WRITE A FUCKIN' SONG AND BECOME MILLIONAIRES!!!"and since when is this a shit song? ITS AMAZING!!!
