Oh my fucking jesus christ, this movie looks amazing. Not amazing in a "this is a shoe-in for an Oscar" kind of way but in a "What the fuck- was that a flying guillotine?" kind of way.

i guess you could say kill bill is over the top, but pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, death proof, jackie brown. watch these movies then tell me it looks like this.. How can you get over the top with so much dialog and very little action. im not trying to argue with you but i just dont see where your coming from. Now you get movies like hostel, planet terror, sin city, natural born killers.. all over the top and have his name connected to them some how, but none are really his movies.

Sorry, my opinion remains. I just can't stand Tarantino's work. It's just so over the top.
mtz313 (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
what? have you ever scene any tarantino movies. this looks nothing like ANY of his movies. this looks more like robert rodriguez (who is a friend of tarantino). closest movie of his that this could ever possibly compare to is kill bill but if you really think they are similar... watch it again.

I love this movie. better than the kill bill 2nd volume and planet terror.

No, it totally looks like something he'd do, and that's no compliment. But this is a matter of personal taste, so...

lol this is so anime in many ways. Is it me or are Japanese films trying more and more to be more anime-ish? |
