Erm... isn't it much more interesting that Derren does use the human psyche instead of 'smoke and mirrors'? There are lots of people bored with traditional magic. Derren's made it exciting and fun again, and it does make you think about how you might react in the situations he sets up.Plus I met him and he's lovely ;)
