Has Richard Simmons ever actually admitted to being gay? Not that I've heard. That said, I agree it's not a very positive image. But I really wish he HAD been run over. And I AM a gay man. So there.

In all, its just an ugly commercial. It reaks with mean-spiritedness, innapropriate judgements and ugly characters. It makes me want to make sure I boycott everything associated with Bridgetone. Not only is this rude commercial depicting assault with a deadly weapon, excessive use of those piercing high beams and bright headlights is also increasingly illegal.

Richard Simmons needs to "get it" into his head that pushing his sissy ways all over the place is bad for the gay identity. He is also one big reason men don't wear short shorts anymore... men don't want to be associated with Richard Simmons because he is an insult and embarassment to the male gender. I get down on my knees and pray that Richard Simmons starts wearing clamdiggers so that men will run away from such fashion-don'ts ... only real men wear dukes and butt huggers again - please!

hey- I'm gay but I find Richard Simmons to be VERY annoying- If I was in that position I might not run him over, but I'd sure give him a good scare.

Instead of Richard Simmons, put Pat Robertson droning on, in ways some find annoying. Christians are not a minority in the U.S., targeted by violence as gay people are, but I'm sure the former wouldn't have a sense of humour about it.

I just like how Alice Cooper was hanging out in the road like a vampire thing. Simmons might be gay but at least he knows how to make fun of himself. Like William Shatner or Adam West do on Family Guy.

as i sit here breathing in shock, a 29 year old who has never been a victim of violence, i find it hard to BELIEVE that this is AMERICA, IF that were a black person, DO YOU THINK THIS WOULD BE FUCKING OK!? GOD DAMMIT. Dear God, dear God, the humanity!
